Linux Server Administrator Job Category: Security Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * **The Opportunity:** We are seeking a proactive and skilled Linux Administrator to join our secure IT team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with extensive experience in Linux systems administrator, automation, security implementations, and integration with enterprise directory services. **What You’ll Get to Do:** Support Linux operating systems on our corporate development/test network as well as edge and cloud production environments Deploy, and maintain the DevOps infrastructure for mission critical applications taking into consideration scalability, reliability, and maintainability of software systems Work in close collaboration with other architects, technical leads, software developers and data scientists to continue the automation of the software build, configurations, and deployment processes. May need to work off hours for support and deployments if necessary. **You’ll Bring These Qualifications:** Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline A current TS/SCI w/ polygraph Experience with DevOps and respective tools. Knowledge and experience in system administration processes Experience hosting applications in Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS Experience with Scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python) You also will support ISSO and ISSEs in obtaining and maintaining system security certification and accreditation Must be willing to meet all customer requirements to facilitate a system installation at DoD facility Container hosting knowledge (podman, Kubernetes) **These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:** Experience administering or architecting cloud-based environments Experience with installing and configuring server hardware (HP, Dell) Additional relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, LFCS, CISSP) Experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) and cabling Experience with the Go programming language A current TS/SCI w/Full Scope poly A DoD 8570-compliant certification or ability to achieve certification within 6-months of hire (A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, SSCP, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP) - ______________________________________________________________________________ **What You Can Expect:** **A culture of integrity.** At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
