**Job Description:**
_Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented_ **_Linux Systems Administrator_** _to join our team!_
**_What You'll Be Doing:_**
+ _Support the system administration for ARL computers installed in FY20_
+ _Support design of Army Research Laboratory A2I2 building for systems being delivered in 2024 and future platforms_
+ _Provide advice for_ _persistent services to support diverse high performance computing (HPC) software stacks, especially AI/ML, for example, using Kubeflow_
+ _Advise in_ _architectural tradeoffs including NVidia Grace/Hopper, ARM, and new file systems_
+ _Identify open source software tools and stacks for customer-specific and production platforms_
+ _Develop and implement software instrumentation to measure and visualize the performance of various systems, sub-systems, and user jobs_
+ _Serve as a subject matter expert to HPC program system administration team for research, development, and production HPC system_
**_What Required Skills You'll Bring:_**
+ _Extensive background in diverse Linux operating systems and high performance computing_
+ _Extensive background in Linux tools, performance tuning, instrumentation_
+ _Extensive background in Linux container architectures_
+ _Open-source software tools, software stacks, and standards_
+ _Ability to manage a team of system administrators across a wide range of platforms and requirements_
**_What Desired Skills You'll Bring:_**
+ _Awareness of emerging hardware/software and their capabilities_
+ _Ability to translate customers’ needs into hardware and software solutions_
+ _Ability to integrate new capabilities into existing HPC systems_
+ _Ability to standardize software stacks to reduce complexity and cost of support_
**_Education and Experience:_**
+ _BS or MS degree in computer science or engineering_
+ _At least 5 years of directly related experience_
+ Linux+ certification
+ Security+ certification
**Minimum Clearance Required to Start:**
Top Secret

Salary Range:
$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
