Job Description One of our federal clients is looking for a Linux Systems Engineer to join their team onsite at the Pentagon a few days a week. This person will be joining a program that is providing IT support and modernization for the financial branch of the federal agency. This person will be responsible for installation, configuration and maintenance of the servers, as well as perform software installations, maintain system documentation, manage server and software configurations, establish and enforce procedures, monitor system health, collect performance metrics and participate in capacity planning. They will need to have a good understanding of AWS operations as well as good communication to provide guidance to the customer and operations team on technical aspects of the AWS environment. Salary range for this role is $55/hr - $62/hr, dependent on qualifications.
