About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Tokyo based Liquidity Risk Management Consultant specialized in IFRS9 ECL related domain, for the Japan and Asia market. With a strong background in solution delivery and client/team management, the candidate should be a proven consultant in similar role serving major financial clients and successfully delivered multiple projects in the country/region.
What you will be doing:
Lead IFRS9 ECL or other Liquidity Risk management solution implementation projects to meet client requirements.
Lead client to implement the defined solution in the FIS products, in a quality and effective approach.
Manage client and other stakeholders expectation and ensure project and solution achieved agreed targets.
Collaborate with members in other country/region, product, offshore development center, partners, etc. and work as a team for the project delivery.
Mentor, guide, advise and/or check work of less experienced consultants on the direction and quality.
Timely escalation of project or solution/product issues.
May serve as pre-sales support when needed.
Other related duties assigned as needed.
What you will need:
10+ year experience of client project delivery in a solution vendor or consulting firm environment, focus on financial and/or risk management solutions.
5 year experience in leading implementation of IFRS9, ALM or Liquidity Risk related solutions.
Good knowledge of IFRS9 ECL calculation, liquidity risk management, banking products and related regulatory requirements. Holder of related certification (e.g. FRM) will be an advantage.
Advanced knowledge of the tools, techniques and principles used in application development or other relevant technology.
Excellent client facing and communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, team and time management skills.
Native Japanese speaker. Fluent in English.
This is a regional role and travel may be required.
