The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is looking for a motivated Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 to play a critical role in supporting the overall operations in the fast-paced environment of our Fine Wine & Good Spirits store. You will work closely with the Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and provide exceptional customer service to our customers. Assistant managers supervise a shift, participating in a variety of sales activities including receiving shipments, stocking products, and provide excellent service to all customers in a clean and safe store environment. Throughout operations, Assistant Managers will assign and inspect the work of Liquor Store employees and instruct employees in the proper application of policies and procedures. Assistant Managers assist General Managers, who are accountable for the entire store operation which includes sales, store maintenance, merchandise and cash accounting, maintenance of records and all related functions. Work Schedule and Additional Information: + Full-time employment. Scheduled hours will be equal to 75 hours biweekly. + Work hours vary between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM, Sunday - Saturday. + Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. + You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: + One year as a Liquor Store Clerk 2; or + Two years as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or an Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk; or + One year of lead retail sales work.
