Aplin has partnered with our Calgary-based client to recruit a Junior Associate with experience in Civil Litigation.

The ideal candidate must have one to three years experience providing expert legal advice and representation to clients ensuring the highest level of service.

Responsibilities:Provide counsel and representation in civil litigation and draft legal documentsRepresent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations and court proceedingsConduct legal research and maintain up-to-date case filesBuild solid client relationships upholding ethical standards and integrityPerform tasks related to practice managementQualifications:Degree from an accredited schoolAdmission to the Law Society of Alberta in good standingAt least 1-year experience practicing in civil litigationStrong knowledge of Alberta laws and regulationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong negotiation skill
