Candidate Profile: JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Bar Admission in Massachusetts. 2–4 years of substantive litigation experience at a mid-size or large law firm. Proven experience drafting and arguing motions, as well as taking and defending depositions. Background in class action defense, financial services litigation, and/or bad faith insurance litigation is a plus. Strong written and oral advocacy skills, with a strategic approach to case management. Ability to work independently and take the lead on key aspects of litigation. Key Responsibilities: Handle complex litigation matters across a range of industries, including business disputes, class actions, and financial services litigation. Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda with precision and strategic insight. Take and defend depositions, preparing clients and witnesses effectively. Argue motions in state and federal courts. Work closely with senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation. Manage discovery, including document production and review. The firm offers competitive compensation, with salaries ranging from $195,000 to $220,000 annually, along with a discretionary performance-based bonus.
