Litigation Attorney
Description We are looking for a dedicated Litigation Attorney to join our team in the Legal industry based in Boston, Massachusetts. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As a Litigation Attorney, your primary role will be to handle complex commercial litigation cases, prepare for depositions, participate in motion practice, conduct document and electronic discovery, and draft pleadings. Responsibilities: • Oversee complex commercial litigation cases and provide legal advice • Prepare for, take, and defend depositions in a professional and comprehensive manner • Engage in motion practice as part of litigation strategy • Conduct document and electronic discovery in accordance with legal standards and protocols • Draft, review, and revise pleadings to ensure they are legally sound and factually accurate • Utilize skills in Civil Litigation, Draft Pleadings, Preparing Pleadings, e-Discovery, Depositions, Defending Depositions to effectively manage and win cases • Collaborate with the legal team to develop case strategies • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all legal matters • Ensure all actions comply with state and federal laws • Communicate effectively with all parties involved in the litigation process. Requirements • Applicant must have a law degree from an accredited law school • Must be licensed to practice law in the state • Demonstrated experience in Civil Litigation is necessary • Proficiency in Draft Pleadings and Preparing Pleadings is required • Familiarity with e-Discovery process and tools • Experience in conducting and Defending Depositions is essential • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and in a team • High level of professional ethics and integrity • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines • Proficient with legal research software and platforms • Familiarity with court procedures and rules • Strong negotiation skills.
