Description Robert Half seeks a Litigation Attorney to join a plaintiff's side firm in California. This role is based in California with fully remote flexibilities. In this position, you will handle a range of tasks related to workers compensation claims, maintain an organized case management system, and use legal software for efficient operations. Responsibilities: • Handle workers compensation claims, conduct comprehensive investigations, and process necessary documentation. • Use legal software such as LexisNexis, and Case Management Software for efficient case handling and documentation. • Oversee plaintiff-side cases, ensuring all legal proceedings are handled accurately and efficiently. • Handle complaint resolution, ensuring all client concerns and issues are addressed in a timely and detail-oriented manner. • Conduct briefings and civil litigation processes as required by the case. • Maintain an efficient management system for all case-related documentation and records. • Stay updated with the latest workers comp law to provide accurate and efficient legal services. • Collaborate with the team to achieve the department's goals. • Maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Possession of a valid license to practice law in the state of California. • Familiarity with LexisNexis and other legal research platforms. • Ability to manage a diverse caseload with a high degree of organization and efficiency. • Strong briefing and civil litigation skills. • Excellent documentation and record-keeping abilities. • Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with clients, team members, and other stakeholders. • Excellent negotiation and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail. • Ability to handle high-stress situations and tight deadlines.
