Description Robert Half LEgal Permanent Placement is seeking a Litigation Attorney for their prestigious Greater Boston law firm client with a national clientele. This role can be remote or hybrid in CT or MA. Must be licensed in CT. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in insurance defense and/or tort litigation, hold a Connecticut (CT) license, and demonstrate exceptional legal skills and dedication to client service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment with a focus on insurance defense litigation. Key Responsibilities: + Conduct depositions, draft pleadings, and attend court conferences. + Negotiate settlements and manage case files through all litigation phases. + Interact with clients, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders to provide top-tier legal counsel and representation. + Perform legal research and drafting in support of complex cases. + Proactively manage litigation caseloads while ensuring compliance with deadlines and client expectations. Requirements Qualifications and Requirements: + Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree (Required). + 2-4 years of experience specifically in insurance defense litigation or tort litigation (Required). + Active license to practice law in Connecticut (CT) (Required). + Strong analytical and writing skills with the ability to present complex legal issues clearly and effectively. + Proven ability to independently manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment. + Excellent academic credentials and a track record of professional success. Job Skills and Abilities: + Self-motivated, diligent, and committed to delivering a high level of client service. + Detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. + Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong professional relationships. Preferred Skills: + Familiarity with Massachusetts civil litigation procedures and an ability to expand into other jurisdictions as needed. + Comfort working within a firm handling cases of national significance. + Experience collaborating with a team to develop innovative legal strategies.
