Key Responsibilities: + Represent and defend clients in a wide range of civil matters, tailored to your area of expertise. + Conduct legal research, prepare motions, draft pleadings, and manage discovery processes. + Develop case strategies and provide high-quality legal counsel. + Appear in court for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as needed. + Collaborate with colleagues to ensure excellent client service and case outcomes. + Maintain frequent communication with clients to keep them updated on case progress and strategy. Requirements Qualifications: + Active membership and in good standing with the California State Bar. + Minimum 2+ years of defense experience in any practice area (e.g., general liability, labor & employment, medical malpractice, construction defect, etc.). + Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. + Confidence and ability to manage a diverse caseload and work well both independently and as part of a team. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships. + A proactive mindset and dedication to delivering outstanding results.
