Description Our client, a well-established litigation firm, is seeking a Litigation Attorney to support their growing caseload on a long-term contract basis. The firm is looking for skilled litigators with strong motion practice, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation experience. Candidates should have experience handling complex civil litigation and working with corporate clients, insurance carriers, or similar entities. This is a fully remote position, but candidates must be licensed in California and available to travel to Los Angeles or San Francisco for trial if needed. Key Responsibilities: + Handle all phases of litigation, including case strategy development, legal research, motion drafting, discovery, and trial preparation. + Draft motions, pleadings, and case evaluations in complex litigation matters. + Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, document requests, and requests for admission. + Assist in taking and defending depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts, ensuring strategic case development. + Assist with pre-trial preparation, including case analysis, exhibit review, and witness preparation. + Provide litigation support to trial teams, including case evaluations, trial briefs, and trial preparation. + Work efficiently to meet the firm’s 1900 billable hour requirement pace. Requirements Qualifications: + Must be licensed to practice law in California and in good standing. + Strong litigation experience, including motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation. + Experience handling complex civil litigation for corporate clients, insurance carriers, or similar entities. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines and case demands. + Willingness to travel to Los Angeles or San Francisco for trial, if necessary.
