The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 8 years of litigation experience (preferably gained while practicing at an AmLaw 100 firm), experience with products liability and/or complex commercial litigation, and **must have a science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) to be considered** . Superior research, analytical, and writing skills are highly preferred. Experience with pharmaceutical and medical device industry and clients is a plus. Additionally, strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team, are a must. The ability to multi-task and prioritize is also required. We prefer candidates with immediately transferable skills and strong academic backgrounds from nationally recognized schools. Strong project management skills and attention to detail will be critical to success. Primary responsibilities for this role will involve communicating with clients; supervising associates; working with experts; assisting with fact development and depositions; reviewing and drafting discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda; and helping develop case strategy.
