Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join a Dallas office, specifically in Plano. The Litigation Paralegal will be handling a variety of matters, including state and federal proceedings and class actions. This opportunity is full time, on-site, and direct hire.

Responsibilities

Perform a broad range of substantive paralegal tasksWork directly with attorneys on product liability, warranty, franchise and distribution law litigation, and other complex business disputesMaintain and monitor court deadlines for assigned cases and manage case calendarsElectronically file documents with the Court through the ECF systemConduct online PACER researchPrepare drafts of pleadings, notices, and motions; prepare deposition notices and organize, maintain, and prepare deposition materials, exhibits, and summariesTrack and manage discovery, including document productionsPrepare for and attending trials; participate in case strategy meetings

Qualifications

At least 5 years of litigation experience in a large law firm; trial experience required An understanding of a paralegal's role in the litigation life cycle, especially in product liability litigationA 2 or 4 year degree and a paralegal certificate (work experience may be substituted for education)Flexibility to work overtime as needed
