Beacon Hill is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in construction defect and personal injury defense work. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the litigation process and be adept at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a proactive and organized individual who can support attorneys by handling a wide range of litigation-related duties, including docketing deadlines, managing document productions, and maintaining case files.

This position is a temporary role and is anticipated to last 12-weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, from case initiation through trial and post-trial proceedings.Manage and maintain case files, ensuring that all documents are organized and easily accessible.Docket deadlines and ensure compliance with court deadlines and other critical timelines.Coordinate large document productions, including reviewing, organizing, and categorizing large volumes of documents.Perform e-filing with various courts and agencies, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and timely.Prepare discovery documents, including interrogatories, requests for production, and responses.Coordinate depositions, hearings, and trial preparations, including managing exhibits, witness lists, and other case materials.Communicate with clients, experts, and third parties as needed to gather information and manage case progress.Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements.Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation, preferably with a focus on construction defect and personal injury defense.Strong understanding of the litigation process, including discovery, filings, and trial preparation.Proficient in managing large volumes of documents and complex productions.Experience with e-filing systems and document management software.Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Paralegal certification preferred, but not required.
