Litigation Support Paralegal
Our Edmonton-based client is looking for a Litigation Paralegal to join a collaborative team supporting multiple practice groups within their firm. If you have experience with eDiscovery platforms, we’d love to hear from you! Benefits & Perks:A hybrid work environment, providing the flexibility to work remotely.35-hour work week, 8:30-4:30Excellent benefits: Extended Health, Dental, Travel, EFAP and more.Growth opportunities.Social events.Responsibilities:Opening and maintaining databases, including data management and tracking.Managing and organizing incoming electronic evidence.Unitization of client records and loading, indexing of same into Casepoint cloud platform.Exporting data from the Casepoint platform, including generating database load files and/or PDF production sets.Interacting with outside entities (such as clients, vendors, and other law firms) to gather information or coordinate activities as needed.Communicating regularly with Lawyers, Paralegals, and Legal Assistants in a professional manner.Tracking and recording time.Other tasks as assigned.Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of litigation experience.Working knowledge of litigation support softwareAdvanced computer and technical skills.Knowledge of the litigation process at all levels of the Court.Team player, cooperative, flexible, and professional.A high level of skill in both verbal and written communication.Strong attention to detail and superior time management and organizational skills.Ability to prioritize and coordinate activities promptly.Ability to work to deadlines and maintain accuracy while working under pressure.
