We are seeking a compassionate and responsible live-in companion to support an 18 year old young adult in Stamford, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will provide daily supervision, foster independence and a healthy lifestyle by teaching life skills and serve as a liaison with the clients care team to ensure the individual’s well-being and progress.     Responsibilities:  + Daily Supervision: Provide companionship and ensure the safety and well-being of the young adult.   + Medication Management: Supervise medication routines, ensuring accuracy and adherence to prescribed schedules.   + Life Skills Development: Assist the young adult in learning essential life skills, including cooking, cleaning, organization, and personal care.   + Communication: Maintain regular and clear communication with the young adult’s care team to report progress, challenges, or updates as needed.    + Household Support: Assist with light household tasks and create a supportive, structured living environment.   Qualifications:  + 5+ years of previous experience in caregiving, companionship, or related roles is preferred.   + Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a care team.   + Ability to model and teach essential life skills in a practical and engaging way.   + Willingness to live on-site and contribute to a positive, stable household environment.   + Valid driver's license and clean driving record   Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am - 7pm, Saturday and Sunday morning hours Powered by JazzHR
