Job Summary:  

I am working on behalf of a family of three based in Clapham who’re looking for a live in Nanny to join their tranquil household.

 

Both parents had nannies growing up and had close relationships with them, so they very much see the nanny as becoming an important part of the family. They are both very friendly and easy-going people and will welcome the nanny into their home.

 

The baby boy will be 9 months old when the nanny starts and is a happy, smiley baby. Mum has a big family on her side, so he has been surrounded by lots of people right from the start of his life and he loves being around people. He’s very chatty and interactive – he loves a sing song and will coo and make happy noises whenever people chat to him. He’s happy playing with toys but much prefers to interact with people. He also loves going to baby classes (Monkey Music, Hartbeeps, Mini Mozart etc.) and swimming lessons.

 

The family home is in a fantastic location, offering loads of local green space, café’s, restaurants & shops nearby.

 

Job specification:

All nanny & nursery duties Providing physical & emotional care Holistic development activities Communicating and updating parent Completing documentation Cooking & providing nutritious meals Taking the child to playgroups, swimming lessons, the local park Eventually pick up & drop off from nursery / school Caring for the child when they are unwell Traveling with the family & child on occasion Maintaining a clean home environment (housekeeping mainly related to the baby

 

Candidate specification:

Experience in a similar role Someone who is bubbly, outgoing and passionate about child-care / child development Kind, caring and nurturing Open to travelling with the family DBS issued in the last year OR on the update service Valid paediatric first aid

 

£170 yearly CPD budget and 28 days’ holiday inclusive of bank holidays offered to the right candidate.

 

Accommodation: Private Bedroom & Bathroom

 

DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
