A family based in Cambridge seeking an experienced and energetic nanny or governess to look after their 2.5-year-old toddler and 6-month-old baby. This is a temporary or permanent role with flexibility regarding live-in options.

Job Summary:

A warm, friendly family and looking for someone who will fit in with their home life in Cambridge, on either a live in or live out basis. They are in need for someone to start ASAP, and ideally will cover until February however they would very much prefer if someone could stay on with them permanently. The family are super lovely and mum and dad both work away from the home, making this a sole charge role. The family has a dog which you must be comfortable with and they also need someone who can drive so this is crucial.

Job specification:

Sole charge of both children, ensuring their safety, happiness, and development Creating a stimulating and active environment for toddler and baby Preparing and cooking nutritious, fresh meals for the children (no processed food) Engaging the children in educational and playful activities Overseeing bedtime routines (if live-in), ensuring the children sleep peacefully and monitoring them through the night Light household duties related to the children (e.g., laundry, tidying) Caring for friendly Weimaraner dog when needed Managing the children’s schedule and needs with a focus on flexibility and routine

Candidate specification:

Significant experience as a nanny or governess, ideally with toddlers and young children High energy and a passion for working with active children Kind, patient, and loyal character, with a strong focus on the children’s well-being Excellent communication skills, both with children and parents Good level of fitness, as the children are active and require physical engagement A valid driving license and your own car (required for commuting) Comfortable with dog care (we have a Weimaraner) Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
