Job Summary:
We are working with a warm, loving family based in Florence, Italy, who are now seeking a Live-In Nanny to join them in caring for their children. With a newborn on the way, we now need an extra set of hands to support our family! 3 children (ages ranging from toddler to school-age) who are in school from 8:30 am to 5 pm. From the summer, the main focus during the day will be on the newborn, with a mix of sole and shared care with mum.
The ideal candidate will be flexible as there may be some night and weekend work required occasionally
Job specification:
• Morning routines: Get children up, dressed, and take them to school
• After-school activities: Sorting and collecting children from school, bath time, and bedtime
• Baby care: Changing nappies, putting down for naps, walks, arts and crafts, and engaging in playtime with the newborn
• Household support: Batch cooking, light housekeeping, and general family support
• Travel: The family travels extensively—around 8 weeks in the summer, and 2 weeks in October, Easter, February, and April, with locations across Europe and the USA.
Candidate specification:
• Experience: Previous experience with multiple children and babies of a similar age
• Personality: Adaptable, flexible, and a “muck-in” attitude. Confident, easy-going, and happy to support where needed
• Driver: Confident driver with a clean license (car provided)
• Additional Requirements: Must be comfortable with both sole and shared care, and must be comfortable living in Florence, Italy.
• Languages – English, Italian – bonus if French speaking too
• EU Passport – Essential
Accommodation: Temporary accommodation close to the home (home is being renovated). In the future, own large bedroom and bathroom
Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
