As an LLM Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing large language models to perform specific tasks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate these models into various applications, ensuring they meet performance and accuracy standards. **Your future duties and responsibilities:** • Develop LLM-based Applications: Create and integrate LLMs into full-stack applications, ensuring seamless operation and performance tuning for specific needs. • AI Model Optimization: Build, train, and fine-tune LLMs to improve performance, accuracy, and alignment with desired tasks. • Prompt Engineering: Formulate effective prompts for generative AI models and design comprehensive applications across the technology stack. • Ethical AI Development: Ensure AI applications comply with ethical guidelines, focusing on data privacy, user consent, and responsible AI practices. • System Design: Design and develop detailed system components that leverage LLMs, enhancing integration with other system components. • Domain Adaptation: Apply domain-specific data and techniques to enhance model effectiveness and accuracy. • AI Testing and Optimization: Develop and execute testing plans for AI applications, continually optimizing for efficiency, scalability, and performance. • DevOps and MLOps: Collaborate in developing DevOps and MLOps pipelines for the deployment of AI models and applications. • Incident Resolution and Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor application performance, identify potential issues, and troubleshoot technical incidents. **Required qualifications to be successful in this role:** • Proficiency in NLP and Machine Learning: Strong understanding of natural language processing and machine learning techniques. • Programming Skills: Mastery of programming languages commonly used for LLM development, such as Python and TensorFlow. • Data Handling: Ability to preprocess and clean large datasets for model training. • Model Evaluation: Experience with model evaluation and performance metrics. • Linguistics Knowledge: Solid understanding of linguistics and language structure. • Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills to explain complex concepts and present findings. • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities. • Cloud Computing: Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and distributed computing systems. Preferred Qualifications: • Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of work experience in full-stack software development, with a significant focus on AI-powered application development. • Machine Learning: At least 3 year of experience in machine learning, with a solid understanding of deep learning algorithms and concepts. • Generative AI Models: Experience working with generative AI models and associated application frameworks. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
