Job Title: LPC/LMHC/LMFT/LMSW Location: Sequoyah Adolescent Treatment Center Type of Position: Locum Tenens Start Date: 2 weeks from offer acceptance Duration: 26 weeks Schedule: + Monday – Friday, with every 5th Saturday being Tues-Sat. One shift per week till 7pm + 40 hours per week + No on-call/callback Certifications Required: + BLS or CPR Licensure: + Active New Mexico State License Responsibilities: + Provide mental/behavioral healthcare for individuals with mental health concerns, substance use issues, cognitive disabilities, and other conditions + Evaluate patients' physical or mental condition + Treat patients in an inpatient, outpatient, or correctional/forensic facility using a multidisciplinary approach + Provide individual and group therapeutic services + Offer targeted counseling to help individuals overcome mental health concerns or substance abuse issues + Remain knowledgeable about the latest methodologies in counseling to provide the best possible care + Refer patients to other mental healthcare or medical providers as necessary + Develop and implement treatment plans + Provide a range of brief prevention, treatment, and recovery services, as well as long-term treatment and support + Document progress notes, assessments, and treatment activities + Utilize treatments such as dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and complicated grief therapy + Maintain confidentiality of records relating to patients' treatment + Perform other duties as assigned Patient Volume: + 5-6 residents, 2 individual sessions, 1 family session per week EMR System: AVATAR Interview Process: + Onsite interview
