LMS Administrator

Summary: The LMS Administrator shall provide system administration for the LMS including: deliver training in a variety of settings, including classrooms, web, and on-site production facilities for the DHA LMS; and coordination and review of LMS courseware tracking for all DHA courses hosted in the DHA LMS’s production and testing environments. Courses will include 2 per week (1 - 1.5 hours each) with possible additional 1 to 2 per month ad-hoc sessions. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Provides system administration for the LMS, Tier II helpdesk support, and LMS system training as required. Support consists of approximately 8-24 hours weekly (Examples: User account issues, course access questions, and mass change requests (requires direct database load vice individual item adjustment – the team’s part is to help gather data and relay to the LMS Operations.). Ensure managing and tracking of DHA training courseware in production and testing environments and conforms to DHA mission and/or program guidelines. Employs approved LMS instructional methods and materials to conduct training courses. Collaborates with eLearning team, DHA stakeholders, and Government training program manager. Liaises with subject matter experts regarding implementation and coordinates courseware gate reviews with customers. Communicates effectively with the training program manager. Provides timely notification on items requiring Government action. Liaise with SMEs regarding instructional loading and implementation of courses on the LMS. Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Proficiency in LMS configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Understanding of database management and reporting tools. Strong analytical skills to evaluate training effectiveness and learner performance. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 3 -5 years of relevant experience. Experience managing and administering Learning Management Systems. Proven track record of implementing and supporting e-learning solutions. Experience in instructional design, e-learning course development, or similar fields is a plus. Familiarity with integrating LMS platforms with other enterprise systems Ability to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS). Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, Human Resources, or a related field. LMS-specific certifications (e.g., certifications for Blackboard, Moodle, or SAP Litmos). Instructional Design certifications.
