LMSW-Per Diem Crisis Intervention
*Description* LMSW PRN OPPORTUNITY-DANBURY HOSPITAL Summary: Provides Crisis Intervention Services in the hospital and in the community. Provides Care Coordination services on the inpatient psychiatric unit as needed. Stabilizes patients for continued treatment and arranges for treatment as indicated. Responsibilities: 1. Provides crisis stabilization intervention to individual patients and/or their families or significant others either in Crisis Intervention Service, Inpatient psychiatry or Mobile Crisis Team at Danbury Hospital and in the community. 2. Provides planning and implementation of the patient's disposition either in Crisis Intervention, Mobile Crisis Team or inpatient psychiatry. 3. Supports Behavioral Health Service Line in providing and managing all patient care. 4. Understands and maintains compliance to all regulatory agencies and the Danbury Hospital Code of Business Ethics. 5. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to this position. 6. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements: Master's Degree in Social Work Licensed LMSW Valid CT driver's license Three years minimal experience in mental health/substance abuse treatment. Prefer:LCSW/LADC Three years minimal experience in mental health/substance abuse treatment.
