THE JOB We are seeking a CFO to drive the financial strategy of the Live Nation’s US Concerts Division. This pivotal role involves setting and executing both long-term and short-term financial goals, overseeing all financial operations, and reporting directly to the Co-Presidents of the US Concerts Division to drive growth and foster innovation. Key responsibilities include evaluating the division’s fiscal performance, conducting advanced forecasting leveraging industry trends, and leading a team of finance and accounting professionals. We seek a visionary leader with a strong background in financial management, adept at guiding the division towards achieving its revenue targets through strategic insights and data-driven decision-making. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO + Participate as a key member of the executive team, with responsibility for establishing, supporting and executing long-range and short-term goals, strategies, plans and policies for the division. + Lead Finance and Accounting functions with ownership of financial reporting, financial planning, monthly forecasting and internal control compliance. + Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the division's fiscal function and performance. + Work with divisional and corporate leadership to coordinate the annual financial and capital plan for the division, including developing strategic business, and analyzing year over year trends and variances analysis to operating & capital plans, playing a key role in exploring new business opportunities, and monitoring capital expenditures. + Lead the development of insights from analyzing trends in the marketplace. Use historical & industry information to assist in the development of long-range business strategies. + Build new analytical tools to assist management with the development of strategies in areas such as competition, sales, and operational support. + Function as the key finance liaison between divisional finance and LNE corporate finance. Review monthly divisional financial results, analyze performance, prepare summary business review presentations for executive management and various ad-hoc analysis & special projects. + Maintain proper internal controls environment applicable for the division related to LNE's SOX compliance requirements. + Build and lead value-added teams comprising of 100+ accounting, finance and strategy professionals. + Plan for continual improvement of the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the group in supporting the Company’s objectives and provide individuals with professional/personal growth. WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING + Bachelor's Degree required (Finance, Accounting). MBA and/or CPA required. + 10+ years' experience in finance management and/or accounting, or a combination of business consulting and finance leadership positions. + Proven track record leading Finance and Accounting within high-growth dynamic organization. + Superior leadership, motivation, strategic planning, and general business abilities. + Experienced manager with sound planning, forecasting, problem-solving, analytical, financial modeling and technical skills; must have the ability to achieve operational excellence through others. + Results driven, energetic, creative and hardworking, with a commitment to the highest quality of care and service. Has a reputation as a leader who "gets things done". + Experience contributing to executive team and board-level corporate decisions and strategy. + Strong communication skills, comfortable interfacing with all levels of management and works well cross- functionally in a team environment. + Ability to manage large, decentralized teams. + Demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage heavy workload. + Strong Excel skills, MS office computer skills, presentation and PowerPoint skills.
