Position Summary

Assists in managing all aspects of load planning and supports all inquiries and requests from business partners.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

Receives and handles requests for transportation for high-profile business partners.Optimizes and creates orders into loads using transportation management systems.Analyses requests to determine what mode and service level to utilize.Creates and tenders transportation orders using bulk plan perimeters.Collaborates with cross-functional teams to schedule, dispatch, and track orders.Utilizes transportation data to build vendor-specific key performance indicators.Addresses all issues and questions while the load is in transit.Approves or denies accessorial charge requests.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field.2+ years of transportation experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Oracle, and transportation management software.Willingness to work flexible hours.
