The Loan Administrator Team Lead is responsible for providing guidance and technical support to Loan Closing Administrators and Associates, performing syndicated and complex commercial loan closing activities. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of loan syndications, complex and specialized commercial lending products, regulatory requirements, credit policy, collateral, insurance, and loan servicing requirements.
Responsibilities Provide guidance and technical support to Loan Closing Administrators and AssociatesPerform detailed due diligence for all Closing Requirements have been met which including but not limited to: Proper borrowing resolutions have been obtainedReview Outside Counsel Consistency Letter ensuring there are no exceptions and/or outstanding items to be resolved prior to closingReview Post Closing requirements and ensure proper tracking and follow upPerform due diligence of Flood Requirements Act as liaison between Escrow, Title, Attorneys and all interested parties to coordinate funding and closing of Specialty Lending loans and Syndicated Credit for EWB lead.Review collateral support documents to ensure appropriate collateralization and proper lien position pursuant to credit approval.Review CCR to determine appropriate credit approval and completed presentation to close the loanEnsure all pre-funding conditions have been met prior to closingPerform pre-Closing review of Loan Documents post executionPrepare closing documents including but not limited to Closing Statement ensuring data accuracy and proper assignment of codes and set up post-closing requirementPerfect all Collateral including but not limited to Commercial Real Estate, Equipment, Blanket Liens, etc. Assist in creating/establishing procedures in support of the Loan Closing Admin. TeamSupport other projects as assigned by the ManagerRespond to all internal and external customer inquiries Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred or equivalent experience 5 years of experience as a commercial loan closing administrator or syndication loan servicing administrator Knowledge of all aspects of complex loan structures specifically those prepared by Attorneys Ability to read and interpret complex loan agreements and Thorough knowledge of all Loan Closing requirements and collateral perfectionStrong knowledge of core accounting system functionality / capability to onboard and service complex commercial lending productsCommercial loan accounting experience required with FIS preferred Broad knowledge of syndicated loan servicing requirementsAbility to provide excellent customer service Ability to multi-task, adapt quickly to changes and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability to effectively communicate upward and downward, with outside attorneys, and other financial institutionsMust be a self-starter and possess positive attitude with good organizational skillsStrong sense of internal and SOX controlsThorough knowledge of Microsoft software, inclusive of Word and ExcelExcellent written and verbal communication skills requiredGood organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills Compensation The base pay range for this position is USD $45.00/Hr. - USD $55.00/Hr.
