Loan Servicing Analyst I, II, III or Account Manager

The hiring range for this opportunity is $20.00 to $30.00 per hour along with incentive opportunities, creating a competitive total compensation package based on our pay scale, and may be modified by location and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

POSITION SUMMARY - Loan Servicing Analyst I, II and III

The Loan Servicing Analyst I will process exception loan payments and executes loan functions assigned by the department supervisor or other more senior personnel. The functions include generating simple loan payoffs, generating loan amortization schedules, processing loan payments, executing core system entries, working time sensitive reports, all to support branch and department personnel. The Loan Servicing Analyst I may execute payments and other adjustments as necessary so that the department entries balance daily.

The Loan Servicing Analyst II will research and processes exception loan payments and execute loan functions with support from senior personnel and department supervisors as needed.  The Loan Servicing Analyst II processes functions that include but are not limited to exception loan payments, loan payoffs (including partial payoffs and partial collateral release involving lot adjustments/splits), loan amortization issues, variable rate changes, time sensitive reports, system entries and adjustments that are beyond branch/department skillset or authority, all to support branch and department personnel.

The Loan Servicing Analyst III collaboratively and with senior personnel and department supervisors, processes complex and technical loan issues and functions that include but are not limited to exception loan payments, loan payoffs (including partial payoffs and partial collateral release involving lot adjustments/splits), loan amortization issues, variable rate changes, core system reconciliation, audits, exams, and time sensitive reports, all to support branch and department personnel.

POSITION SUMMARY - Account Manager

The Loan Servicing Account Manager independently and without guidance or direction, manages complex and technical loan servicing issues and processes. The Account Manager validates and audits Loan Servicing Analyst tasks that include but are not limited to exception loan payments, loan payoffs (including partial payoffs and partial collateral release involving lot adjustments), amortization issues, variable rate changes, core system reconciliation, audits, exams, and time sensitive reports, all to support branch and department personnel. The Loan Servicing Account Manager may oversee disputes, Secondary Market activity, escrow transactions and general ledger certifications being performed by the Loan Servicing Analyst

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES - Loan Servicing Analyst I, II and III

Assists department and other business units and branch personnel with loan related matters that may exist after boarding. Maintain adherence to established operational procedures from other departments, providing ongoing monitoring for accuracy. Follow operational programs/procedures/job aids as assigned. Identify payment issues and correct as instructed by senior personnel. Generate simple payoff demand requests on consumer loans. Investigate out of balance conditions and payment errors. With guidance from more senior personnel, resolve discrepancies between Promissory Note and core system Process various daily Signature queries & Nautilus reports that are time sensitive, including but not limited to: Matured Loan query, Automatic Loan Payment Exception Journal. Provide data to senior management for audit and exam campaigns. Process approved disbursement requests from Construction Lending group. As instructed, process incoming wires for loan related activity. Execute outgoing wires as instructed.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES - Account Manager 

Provide direction and resolution on escalated loan issues to Management, Auditors/Examiners, Commercial/Home Mortgage/Consumer business units, branch personnel, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and external customers Audit adherence to established operational procedures from other departments, providing ongoing training and feedback Develop, maintain, and publish operational Programs/procedures/job aids Serve as project lead for ongoing product/system implementation Analyze loan structure upon boarding to ensure accuracy of setup, billing and payment posting hierarchy. Provide direction for corrections as needed Audit Loan Servicing Analysts research on payment issues for accuracy, clarity and correction as needed Review and approve calculated Payoff calculations within acceptable timeline standards by reviewing and interpreting promissory note and/or Credit Admin instruction Review and approve Loan Servicing Analysts tasks correcting out of balance conditions and payment errors Provide review and approval of proposed resolution of discrepancies between Promissory Note and core system by the Loan Servicing Analyst Create, edit, and manage various daily Signature queries & Nautilus reports Act as lead for audit exams Create, edit, and maintain callback procedures to ensure accuracy Revie and approve incoming and outgoing wires for loan related activity

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED - Loan Servicing Analyst I, II and III

4-year degree or high school diploma and equivalent work experience Able to organize and handle multiple tasks Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient MS Office Skills in Word/Excel/PowerPoint. Loan Servicing Analyst II: 2-3 years’ experience servicing loans or equivalent work experience. Proficient in most facets of the job responsibilities with a working knowledge and understanding of loan servicing. Ability to work and solve problems independently following Tri Counties Bank policies and procedures. Loan Servicing Analyst III: 3-4 years’ experience servicing loans or equivalent work experience. Complete proficiency in all facets of the job responsibilities with a thorough understanding of loan servicing procedures and Bank programs/products/guidelines.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED - Account Manager 

4 year degree or equivalent work experience 4-5 years’ experience servicing loans or equivalent work experience. Advanced proficiency in all facets of the job responsibilities with an advanced understanding of loan processing procedures and Bank programs/products/guidelines. Advanced organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient MS Office Skills in Word/Excel/PowerPoint Advanced skills in Signature Core system, Nautilus and other Bank systems

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
