Job Description:

At Regions, the Loan Servicing Escalations Specialist researches and responds to reportable inquiries related to denial of loss mitigation requests, loan servicing, and inquiries submitted to the Office of Customer Satisfaction (OCS) for resolution.

Primary Responsibilities

Converses with customer regarding inquiries by phone  Researches inquiries and gathers documentation necessary for research and responseDrafts and edits responses to customer inquiriesGathers supporting documentation to be submitted to the customerNotates loans with attorney representation or requests to Cease and Desist communications

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Applicants will be expected to pass any assessment associated with the position

Preferences

One (1) year of loan servicing or related experience

Skills and Competencies

Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent customer service skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work with limited supervisionAbility to research and summarize facts

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.

Training: Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:30pm CST (6 weeks)

Following training: 8:30am - 5:30pm

This position is 100% fully onsite.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
