Job Purpose or Objective(s): Provide loan payment and escrow support for all loans serviced by Choctaw Home Finance. You will report to the Home Finance Assistant Director.
Primary Tasks:
1. You will balance and post daily payment information and prepare daily payment processing reports for accounting.
2. Input new loan information including loan amount, due dates, funding, and escrow onto the mortgage system to create monthly statements and setup payroll deduct and bank draft forms for payments.
3. Manage delinquencies by providing letters to homeowners, phone calls, and home visits.
4. Manage foreclosed properties from acquisition to sale including bids for yard maintenance, prepare ads for papers, and show homes to potential buyers.
5. You will refer members to Housing Service Coordination Department for individualized services to guide and support homeowner success.
6. Scan file information into the loan servicing system and monitor for accuracy of inputted information.
7. Track and maintain AMERIND Insurance Community Shield and Force Placed Policies monthly and all escrow accounts and pay vouchers as due.
8. Provide and prepare monthly reports and annual year end statements to Homeowners Operations Manager.
9. Reconcile escrow accounts monthly and at year end for annual escrow analysis and compliance.
10. Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
Requirements:
· Ability to obtain Mortgage Office training certificate and complete ongoing annual education
· Ability to work with internal and external associates, vendors, and Tribal Members cordially
· Excellent Verbal and Written Skills
· Knowledge of Federal and State housing regulations
· Intermediate user of Microsoft Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), PowerPoint, and Outlook
· Four years’ experience providing Housing services
