Location Description Welcome to the The Belgrove, a distinguished new property in the Pyramid Global Hospitality portfolio set to open this year as a 4-Diamond resort. Located in the heart of West Palm Beach, our resort will feature 150 elegantly designed rooms and villas, multiple exquisite restaurants, a world-class spa, and a stunning golf course. We are seeking a committed and passionate hospitality professional to provide top quality service as Lobby Attendant. The successful candidate is responsible for ensuring that the common areas of the hotel are clean and well maintained. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to become part of a team always pushing one another to raise the bar. The primary responsibilities of the Lobby Attendant at the Belgrove Resort include but are not limited to: Cleans and maintains all public areas in the commercial tower including corridors, public restrooms, administrative offices, sales office, restaurant, lobby, upper terrace, and pool area. Ensures all furniture is moved back to proper placement. Cleans all interior glass throughout hotel. Cleans and maintains commercial area storage room. Assists Guest Services associates and room attendants in delivering supplies to guest rooms. Assists in cleaning and maintaining door entrances to hotel, including ash urns. Assists room attendants as needed. Cleans guest rooms when necessary, as directed by the Director of Housekeeping, Housekeeping Manager, or the Manager on Duty Empties all trash from commercial area and takes to dumpster. Is able to carry and lift items weighing up to 30 pounds and able to stand for 8 consecutive hours. Has a thorough knowledge of emergency and life safety procedures and follows all key control procedures. Provides the highest quality of service to guests. Always wears proper uniform and nametag in accordance with the standards of personal appearance guidelines. Performs all other duties deemed necessary by management. Qualifications Must have at least (1) or more years of experience in Hospitality, with previous experience in a luxury environment preferred. In addition to performance of key responsibilities, this position may be required to possess a combination of the following skills and experience: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English Require excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able stand for extended periods of time, with the ability to lift to 30lbs + on a regular and continuous basis. This could include pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying.
