Job Description

Develop, maintain, and manage Expeditors world-wide activity with one of our industry-leading, top global customers to achieve optimum business retention and development. Ensure that customer's cross-functional and geographical operational requirements are proactively identified and serviced. Act as the chief revenue growth champion and orchestrator for global strategic business planning and execution by leveraging global relationships, your industry knowledge, and Expeditors product, geo, and service leadership. Deliver world class business reviews and workshops tailored to your customer that drive further collaboration between Expeditors and the customer with a focus on value creation and cost reduction as measured through business intelligence. Drive alignment and co-collaboration efforts in multiple geo's to identify customer's top supply chain priorities and challenges. Work with Expeditors senior executives and product & geo management to create value-add solutions that are timely and relevant to the customer's ecosystem. Increases Expeditors' revenues and profitability through providing enhanced valued-added service.

SCOPE OF POSITION

To maintain ownership of existing identified house accounts, to improve the level of customer service, while increasing business opportunities. To create a unique Expeditors customer experience through total ownership of and accountability to:

Understand global customers' profile, needs and expectations.Retain existing business and continuous pursuit of global business development.Create a strategic and mutually beneficial relationship for Expeditors with the customer worldwide

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Strengthen relationships with existing house accounts.Identify opportunities and grow business from existing house accounts.Penetrate organizational structure for house accounts and develop relationships at all levels beyond main point of contact.Understand customers' business and strategy and our role with the customer.Ensure customer satisfaction and follow up.Communicate service issues to Department Managers/Supervisors.Action items lists maintained and updated weekly for follow up items.Assist with collections when needed.Manage client profiles - separated out by location.CRM input & management for significant calls.Fluent in EI systems and demos in order to provide technical updates to LAM accountsInvolve sales and operations at appropriate times.Share weekly schedule with all Departments to help coordinate and participate in joint account visits.Turn major business opportunities and proposals over to Sales and operational issues to appropriate operational contacts.Management of Business Reviews – goal is to have a minimum of one per account per year Continually seek improvement in procedures and services to create more efficient and cost effective operations.Assume lead responsibility for the efficient delivery of all local (branch) services.Assist, and if needed, spearhead problem resolution for issues outside of local branch.Ensure that a functioning and agreed upon invoicing - payment process is in place.Meet with the local customer to maintain customer information and satisfaction.Be dedicated to the success of Expeditors and the program using ethical business practices, personal commitment, passion & sacrifice, and an obsession with the fundamental details of running the business.

QualificationsUniversity or equivalent business qualificationsMinimum 3 years Expeditors or industry experienceProven work experience in business developmentKnowledge of Expeditors products and servicesKnowledge of required Expeditors operating systems as well skills associated with Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.Proficient in MS Office and CRM softwareStrong presentation skillsProven project management skillsStrong analytical skillsAbility to perform and meet KPI requirementsDemonstrated customer service, problem solving, and proven interpersonal skills.Charismatic with an ability to connectAbility to create/write customer requirements clearly for use by other Expeditors employees.Level one Account Management certification.Level one Sales certification.

Additional Information

Starting Pay: 55k base salary + commission (Min 65k+ per yr total comp)

Located onsite at 12200 E Iliff Ave, Aurora, CO 80014, USA
