The primary purpose of this role is to deliver recommendations for localized programs that will deliver incremental value to their markets and to our customers through growth, efficiency, or profitability. The role is critical to Lowe's because it analyzes gaps in regional business models and develops strategies that allow Lowe's to gain a competitive advantage in the market.
What you will do
Deliver recommendations for localized programs that will deliver incremental value to their markets and to our customers through growth, efficiency, or profitability
Partners with key data partners across the organization, performs analyses, and creates business cases, insights, and action plans on new or improved opportunities
Leads the development of cross-functional project resource plans to reduce customer gaps, market gaps, product assortment gaps, and define project opportunities (eg. energy rebates, etc)
Develops combat strategies that capitalize on competitor exits from the market and that minimize the effects of new competitors entering the market.
Directs the planning and preparation of business proposals, present and gain alignment among functional leaders, make recommendations to senior management and business owners
Works with Senior Store Operations Leadership, Vice Presidents of Store Operations in the field, and potential sponsors to determine and prioritize their needs
Acts as a key contact for internal clients, advocate and conduit for store operations into Lowe's. Develops a professional relationship and understands the customer needs to suggest projects, products and/or services to meet the customer's needs.
Drives operational improvement within the business to reduce customer effort and reduce operational expense.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, Strategy, Operations, Marketing or other Business-related field
3 years of experience in business, Strategy, Operations, Marketing or other Business-related field
Preferred Skills/Experience
Master's degree in business, Strategy, Operations, Marketing or other Business-related field
