RESPONSIBILITIES:

Use electronic locating devices, as-built drawings, maps and/or atlases to accurately mark the location of underground facilitiesDemonstrate familiarity with telecommunications, sewer, water, streetlight, and traffic signal facilitiesPrepare and submit backup documentation for each locate (documentation may include, but is not limited to, daily reports, locate tracking forms, and photos)Identify and record discrepancies on as-built drawings, maps, and/or atlasesObserve active construction work and protect existing facilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalentMust possess a valid driver’s licenseMinimum of one (1) years of technical training or experience with electronic locating devices or telecommunicationsAbility to meet deadlines on multiple assignments/projects and operate with a sense of urgencyResolute and focused; able to prioritize multiple tasks and follow through to achieve project goalsExcellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills, develop positive rapport with clients and colleagues at all organizational levels
