Job Specific

The LINC position is responsible for the coordination and servicing of convention and group businessLiaises daily with conference and convention guests to handle specific requests and ensure guest satisfaction.Communicates changes in conference programs to appropriate hotel operating departments. More specifically: Continually checks in with Meeting Planners to assess needs/requirements.Maintains communications with clients and appropriate hotel departments via RUSH Line and radioStays in contact with the appropriate Meetings & Events Manager regarding any changes/updates pertaining to their groupProvide outstanding services to clients in accordance with Loews Hotels Star Service standards to ensure total guest satisfactionMeet with Meetings & Events Manager prior to arrival of each group to fully understand the needs and flow of every groupMeet daily with Meetings & Events Manager to ensure full understanding of the needs and flow of each group in-houseMaintain the accuracy of the BEOs (guarantees, replacing revised/original BEO's, F&B BEO's placed in correct section, etc.)Produces the Outdoor Event Report on a weekly basisWeekly maintenance (Engineering) reports/walkthroughsReports to Engineering any items needing to be fixed/correctedWalks all room set-ups in advance, ensure they are correctEnsures all events are posted correctly on the Reader BoardReviews Resume and BEO's in great detail to determine needs and assist with facilitating them with the Meetings & Events or Catering Manager's assistanceRegularly checks on preparations and activities for all assigned group eventsMeets periodically with clients throughout the day for the duration of their stay to answer questions, coordinate necessary changes, anticipate needs, and troubleshoot problemsCoordinates package delivery for group clients, coordinating with the Business Center and Receiving DepartmentsNotifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of all problems and/or unusual matters of significance
