Logistics Engineer
Our Logistics Engineer plays a critical role in the seamless operation of the supply chain. This role employs a blend of analytical skills and practical knowledge to develop and improve logistics processes, and solution implementation in the warehouse.
This individual will report to the Director of Global Logistics Engineering located in the Netherlands, as well as be part of the Global Logistics Team with colleagues who are very passionate, proactive and hardworking. Daily, our Logistics Engineer will closely work with the different departments in Hong Kong and Shenzhen. Occasional travel is required on project basis.
What You’ll Be Doing
Analyzing, and improving logistical processes, as well as implementing new solutions to improve the warehouse processes to enhance efficiency.
Processes can be improved by changing the process on the floor, changing the WMS system, or adding technology to the process like robotics.
Targeting to increase performance, reduce costs and improve quality.
Implementing an improvement project and acting as project manager.
Effectively communicate and “sell” new solutions to key stakeholders using compelling presentations and influencing skills.
Overseeing the implementation of new logistics solutions and monitoring their performance.
Collaborating and contacting with all required cross-functional teams within logistics (operations, IT, transportation, export, compliance, finance, etc.).
We Are Looking For

Enjoy seeing the standardizing and creation of new processes as a challenge.
Bachelor's or Master degree in Logistics or Industrial Engineering with 3-5 years related job experience.
4+ years of experience in identifying and evaluating potential improvement.
Outstanding communication skills and presentation skills with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels to embrace the changes.
Good listener to understand customer requirements.
Familiarity with warehouse environments
Has experience in applying improvement techniques like Lean, Kaizen to logistics processes.
Highly communicative in Cantonese and English, Mandarin is plus
High level skills of MS office tools.
Experience with process optimization within a commercial logistics environment.
