Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **Role Definition** This is an Agency Position for a candidate who will support the achievement of Supply Chain target through the correct management of internal logistics, maintaining the required service standards, in accordance with the corporate procedures. **Responsibilities** + Contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing material handling, inventory management and logistic operations + Develop and implement process improvements to achieve goals in safety, quality, velocity and cost + Monitor and analyze data and key metrics to identify trends, improve workflows and resolve inefficiencies + Supports improvement solutions for the supply-chain process. + Supporting customer efforts with pricing information and supplier selection. + Maintaining and supporting supply chain application systems. + Working with master planners on outsourcing needs; establishing blanket purchase orders and vendor managed inventory (VMI) + Gathers data for use in the analysis of business processes. + Illustrates problems, opportunities and methods for improving existing business processes. + Suggests ways to reduce variation and/or waste in processes. + Helps evaluate what factors should be addressed in the change program + Participates in requirements analysis for process changes **Requirements** + Degree in mechanical engineering/management engineer + Fluent English, written and spoken + Good communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork and collaboration + Interest in logistics and Supply Chain processes + Knowledge of Microsoft Office Package **Skill Descriptors** _Business Process Improvement:_ Knowledge of business process improvement best practices and ability to use methods for identifying, evaluating, introducing and implementing more efficient approaches to performing business related activities. Level Working Knowledge: + Provides input for Gantt or PERT charts or their equivalent to track project progress and status. + Under guidance, plans and estimates simple projects. + Assists in detailed project plans including cost, schedule, and resource requirements. + Obtains information from stakeholders during the planning stage of a project. + Produces standard project status reports. _Logistics Management:_ Knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products. Level Working Knowledge: + Assists in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity. + Uses tools, with guidance, to forecast delivery times, determine costs and assess performance. + Maintains records of all shipments and invoices using an established system. + Participates in integrating logistics processes and developing effective networks. + Works with logistics in a domestic environment. _Procurement:_ Knowledge of buying and procurement; ability to work with organizational strategies and practices, and use tools for buying goods, supplies, equipment and services needed to conduct business. Level Working Knowledge: + Works with the procurement of services, materials or equipment. + Follows established procedures, documentation requirements and approval level requests to conduct procurement activities. + Uses available procurement systems and tools in transactions with approved suppliers. _Supply Chain Management - MFG:_ Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes.
