Job Description:
RESPONSABILITIES:
1. Lead and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
-Design and implementation of optimized distribution solutions.
Development of AOS maturity
2. Coordinate and supervise logistics activities.
Attend SQCDP meetings with Production Planner, Supply Officer and Manufacturing Engineering.
Escalation of issues affecting logistics and/or production activities.
Collect new requirements from other functions and report with Production on logistical impacts
Understand and analyze KPIs to anticipate problems and improve HUB to point of use (POU) distribution flow.
3. Adapting distribution solutions and ensuring data management
Adaptation of manageable distribution solutions by level (physical and information flows)
Ensure maintenance and creation of logistics data, flow mapping and reporting to impacted functions
Provide advice and support to in-plant operators to develop skills to deal with physical flow issues
Create work specifications in case of new activities and follow up on them.
4. Manage and prevent logistical disruptions.
Curative, corrective and preventive actions in the area of responsibility to improve performance
Perform or contribute to Practical Problem Solving (PPS)
Perform first level IT maintenance by applying troubleshooting procedures and maintaining regular contact with the support team.
5. Manage logistical resources
Ensure the proper use and supervise the inventory of specific logistical means
Contribute to the design and maintenance of specific logistic means
Management of standard and specific logistic means for internal and external perimeter.
6. Operational Management of Distribution Activities
Monitor, analyze the performance of the distribution solution (physical vs. IT flow) and define the required action plan on the different tools.
SKILLS:
We're seeking dynamic candidates with a Degree in Engineering (aerospace engineering preferred), experience in Supply Chain topics. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
