Day to Day Functions: + Prospect new business and forge new relationships daily. + Work with operations to build and track loads. + Negotiate rates with carrier partners and valued clients. + Utilize multiple forms of communication such as telephone, e-mail, instant messenger, and other support software. You will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting EDI systems and processes to support our logistics activities. Responsibilities: + EDI Implementation: + Analyze and assess client EDI requirements to determine the most suitable solutions. + Configure and implement EDI systems and mapping rules. + Test and validate EDI transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance. + EDI Maintenance: + Monitor and troubleshoot EDI systems and processes to identify and resolve issues promptly. + Update and maintain EDI maps and configurations as needed. + Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders regarding EDI-related matters. + Data Management: + Manage and maintain EDI data files and databases. + Ensure data integrity and accuracy. + Compliance: + Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to EDI. + Ensure compliance with EDI standards and guidelines. + Collaboration: + Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, IT, customer service) to ensure seamless EDI integration. + Work closely with clients and carriers to address EDI-related concerns. Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in information technology, supply chain management, or a related field. + Proven experience in EDI implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. + Strong knowledge of EDI standards and protocols (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT). + Proficiency in EDI mapping tools and software (e.g., Gentran, Sterling Integrator). + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
