Logistics Analyst

The responsibility of the Logistics Analyst is to coordinate supplier deliveries in the most efficient way possible, while working to maintain a minimum of inventory and control costs. The Logistics Analyst will work to maintain a customer satisfaction level of 90%. 

EssentialFunctions of the Job

Determine material requirements in accordance with production plans and customer needs and disposition of all purchased parts of each project via ERP system.  Inventory control and securing availability of materials for production. Communication with suppliers, initiate special transportation, planning inventory, clarifying debit balances. Tracking and reporting on deliveries / backorders from suppliers. Data entries in ERP system. Coordinating work-flow between goods receipt department, production and shipping. Coordinate material pick up form suppliers or storage warehouse.  Manage Inventory levels according to profit plan. Support material planning for new launch and build out. Participate in year-end inventory taking.

Required Education Level

Bachelor's Level Degree Area of Study: Supply Chain Management or similar.

Required Qualifications

1-3 Minimum Years of Experience. Less Than 1 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry. Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing  Excel skills. Strong communication skills. Detailed oriented. ERP Experience

Work Environment

Office/Manufacturing Environment. May frequent manufacturing plants and must follow all rules while visiting locations. Works closely with others, perhaps within a foot ofanother person Often exposed to distracting sounds and noisy conditions Work isindoor in a manufacturing setting that may or may not be temperature controlled. Personalprotective equipment is required.

Salary Range: $72,000-$91,000
