This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain/maintain an active DoD Secret level Security Clearance. This position is also contingent upon an award of contract.
In this role, you will:
Manage and coordinate logistics operations, ensuring the timely and efficient movement of goods, materials, and services within the supply chain.Monitor and manage supply chain activities, including inventory control, transportation, and distribution, to meet organizational needs and deadlines.Address difficult but typically not complex logistics challenges, applying practical knowledge and experience to develop effective solutions.Perform logistics management duties independently with general supervision, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.Influence and guide others within the job area by explaining logistics facts, policies, and practices, ensuring understanding and adherence to standards.Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, providing recommendations for enhancing supply chain performance.Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure that logistics requirements are met, negotiating terms and managing relationships to maintain service quality.Prepare and maintain accurate logistics documentation, including shipping records, inventory reports, and compliance documentation. QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will have:
A Bachelor’s Degree in logistics management, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is at least 3 years of experience in logistics management or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to manage logistics operations effectively is required.Degree requirements may be adjusted based on additional related experience, highly specialized knowledge, or uniquely applicable experience.An active DoD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.Practical knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles, typically obtained through advanced education combined with hands-on experience.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain logistics concepts and influence others within the job area.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address logistics challenges and develop practical solutions.Ability to work independently with general supervision, managing tasks efficiently and meeting deadlines.Proficiency in analyzing logistics data and making data-driven decisions to optimize operations.10% travel required.Additional Desired Experience and Skills:

In compliance with local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $42,836.29 to $84,596.99; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
