Summary

The Logistics Analyst support logistics planning and operations for F-16 aircraft maintenance. This role involves managing supply chain activities, coordinating with suppliers, and optimizing inventory to ensure timely delivery of parts and equipment essential for F-16 readiness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintains reports and performs administrative and technical duties that require knowledge of the department, program, and the company, along with current policies, practices, and procedures.Ensure appropriate inventory quantity is purchased.Performs diversified duties including reports preparation, data collection, trend analysis, reconciliation reports, and business and process documentation.Follow administrative processes within the site and make recommendations to implement process improvements.Perform tracking and expediting function for purchase, repair quotes and open repair/exchange ordersMay work on confidential or sensitive information, typically of a technical or proprietary nature.Establishes and maintains an appropriate data base system to retrieve needed materials efficiently.Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the company, maintains professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.Uses various software applications, such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports.Perform other duties as needed.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance.In order to obtain a secret clearance, qualified candidates must have US Citizenship.Ability to pass physical screening requirements

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or GEDAt least 4 years of logistics experience is required.Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel required.Military aviation logistics analyst experience preferredExperience in the use of multiple databases

Work Conditions

Position is located OCONUS and in an austere environment; work is being performed on the flight line, limited hangar or aviation field environment.
