Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Logistics Import Analyst in central Nassau County, NY. Responsibilities: + Establish and maintain maximum and minimum consumables inventory levels + Coordinate with in-house sales team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customers + Provide assistance for maintaining logistics planning tasks + Scan orders into computer and track shipments across multiple channels + Approve time sheets associated with deliveries and pick-ups + Administer and maintain inventory control program systems + Support with maintenance of logistics policies, procedures, support plans and similar data. + Manage and monitor the performance of entire fleet, routing and scheduling planning Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business (preferred) + Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs + Experience creating and generating purchase orders + 5+ years previous experience in logistics or purchasing + Working knowledge of PC computer systems and cargo management software preferred + Great interpersonal skills + Well-developed motivational and leadership skills + Excellent verbal and written communication skills Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
