Description We are seeking a Logistics Analyst for our manufacturing operations located in Parsippany, New Jersey. The role involves meticulous handling of transportation logistics, and requires a strong understanding of supply chain logistics. Responsibilities: • Collaborating with teams to effectively solve logistical problems • Analyzing transportation logistics and supply chain processes to enhance efficiency • Utilizing Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other relevant software for logistics planning • Inspiring and leading the team towards achieving logistics objectives • Maintaining proficiency in software tools like Microsoft Excel for logistics management • Managing and planning transportation loads as part of the logistics strategy • Communicating effectively across different teams and levels in the organization to ensure smooth logistics operations • Offering strategic insights based on strong analytical skills to improve logistics processes. Requirements • Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field • Proven experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry • Strong understanding of Supply Chain Logistics • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to interpret and analyze logistics data • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment • Knowledge of logistics systems and practices • Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures • Understanding of import and export regulations • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines • High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail • Strong organizational and time management skills • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
