Logistics Analyst Associate

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Logistics Analyst to join our team in the Fort Meade, MD location and will be part of a team that provides technical administrative support and logistical support for our Intel Customer.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Coordinates inbound and outbound logistical operations including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and productsControls the commercial impact of the complete range of activities from receiving, locating, and dispatching, sourcing, purchasing, and optimizing inventory levelsAdministers an effective system that meets the organization's inventory control needs through efficient transportation of raw materials, component parts and/or finished goodsPerforms routine assignments in the entry level to a professional job progressionTypically requires a college or university degree or the equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and conceptsUses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problemsReceives instruction, guidance, and direction from othersRequires conceptual knowledge of practices and procedures within a particular area of expertiseApplies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experienceNo supervisory responsibilities; accountable for own contributionSolves routine problems using existing procedures and standard practicesHas limited impact on own work team; works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlinesExchanges basic information, asks questions, and checks for understandingAbility to operate a 26-foot high box truck for deliveries within 50 miles
 

Basic Qualifications

Requires a High School Diploma or GED3 years of relative experience in LogisticsAbility to pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
 

Security Clearance Requirements:

Currently holds an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
 

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneeMust be able to push, pull, and reachRegular operation of computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printerAbility to operate motorized and nonmotorized pallet jacks and reach trucksFrequent communication with co-workers, management, and customers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
