Logistics Analyst II

Summary: The Logistics Analyst II will support the Distribution Operations Center (DOC) Vaccine Distribution at USAMMA contract, which provides vaccine distribution management and medical quality control messaging. The DOC provides bio-defense vaccine distribution support to the Department of Defense (DoD) – anytime, anywhere. The DOC also provides MMQC messages and HAR notifications to the DoD in a timely manner to support the safe delivery of health care to all beneficiaries and operational forces. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Assist in analyzing production, distribution, and inventory workflows to identify areas for improvement Support the development and execution of logistics plans that enhance product movement from production to distribution and inventory management Review and suggest improvements to procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction Help ensure rational product distribution and delivery strategies based on analysis reports and tracking data Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support seamless distribution operations and align with company objectives Conduct data analysis to evaluate logistics performance and assist in developing actionable recommendations Prepare reports on logistics metrics and contribute to performance assessments Support the implementation of new logistics tools, technologies, and best practices to improve workflow efficiencies Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in logistics processes Work on moderately complex projects, contributing to the timely achievement of program goals Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Solid understanding of logistics principles and distribution management Proficiency in logistics software and tools Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders Ability to work independently on moderately complex tasks while contributing to team efforts Familiarity with inventory management and cost-saving strategies Minimum Qualifications: Requires 2 - 4 years of related experience Experience with data analysis and reporting Must be a US citizen Ability to successfully pass an employment background check Must have Secret clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field Certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000 annually.
