OVERVIEW:
The Logistics Analyst ll - LTL Home Delivery supports the Parcel and eCommerce Logistics team’s operational and strategic initiatives by playing a key role in the creation and maintenance of KPI and metrics reporting and the development of processes to improve the athlete experience. The analyst will focus on supporting our LTL home delivery and hot market networks. The analyst must be able to effectively communicate with our Supply Chain teams, the eCommerce and Customer Service teams, and manage our vendor and carrier partners based on information gathered and business needs.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead & participate in process improvement projects related to eCommerce Home Delivery (LTL), leverage your knowledge from the operations and work with continual improvement as a focus.
Tasks will include cross-functional development of new processes, SOP documentation and updates, leading meetings and following up on action items, and developing new solutions to support business initiatives.
Responsibilities will include gathering and maintaining KPI’s regarding carrier performance and remittance. Key Performance Indicator’s include, but are not limited to, monitoring time in transit and shipping expenses. In addition, the Analyst will be responsible for resolving aging orders and customer escalations brought forward by our customer service team. The analyst will investigate issues and make timely and informed decisions when resolving escalations. Analyst must work with cross functional partners internally and externally to resolve order concerns and continually look to improve the business. The analyst will be the primary monitor of the Home Delivery email inbox, where vendor and Athlete concerns are sent to be addressed.
Plan & track licensed special deliveries/hot market shipments for NFL, NCAA, NHL, NBA & MLB during the playoff seasons. Hot market requires extreme attention to detail and the ability to flex when there are changes to the buying plan. Tasks include planning with merchants and carrier partners, shipment tracking, freight expense documentation, and SOP creation and management. Analyst will be the lead on the hot market planning and execution and will delegate planning as needed.
Participate in home delivery carrier RFPs and facilitate vendor & carrier on-boarding as needed. Tasks will include gathering and analyzing data, documenting and implementing processes, and communicating closely with vendors and carriers. Analyst will organize cross functional meetings with vendor teams to communicate any vendor concerns or onboardings.
Provide back-up support for SEA (Shipping Eligibility Application). This application houses information and business rules for the eCommerce department, including shipment eligibility, determining if parcel, oversized parcel or LTL would be the most efficient means of shipping. SEA also manages restrictions, ship windows and charges.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Experience: 3-5 years
Knowledge of the transportation industry, specifically LTL shipments and a focus in retail and eCommerce preferred.
