Logistics Analyst Journeyman

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Logistics Analyst Journeyman to join our team in the Manchester, NJ. This is a Hybrid position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

Providing general Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and experience in Supply Chain Management for EMALS and AAG to ensure the on-going design efforts and ship’s configuration for these systems is kept up to date to ensure the ships are authorized to carry the necessary spares onboard in the correct quantities

Provide EMALS and AAG support and assist NAWCAD LKE Configuration Management as directed by the EMALS/AAG Division APML, EMALS APML, AAG APML, and EMALS/AAG DAPMLs

Participate in EMALS and AAG related meetings

Provide EMALS and AAG efforts associated with support to Ford Class Carrier design and maintenance

Some travel will be required: estimating two trips per year to east coast locations

Basic Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of logistics support for entire life cycle related to ALRE systems, OR HS and additional five (5) years of relevant DOD logistics support for entire life cycle related to DOD systems experience may be substituted for the degree requirement

Experience working with DoD ILS, Provisioning, Supply Chain Management and Configuration Management processes and associated databases

Experience in logistics documentation.  Making recommendations to ensure design solutions, drawings and documents updates support fleet readiness

Experience participating in System Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process for all EMALS and AAG ECPs.  Acting as a logistics representative through all design phases including all associated SETRs, Configuration Control Board (CCB) and Change Implementation Board (CIB)

Experience coordinating with Logistics Element Managers (LEMs) to ensure ILS products are technically accurate.  Contributing updates at weekly Integrated Management Scheduling (IMS) meetings for EMALS AAG and all active EMALS and AAG ECPs, ship installations and misc. tasks, to ensure logistics tasks are scheduled to be completed on time, with appropriate documents being turned over from engineering

Experience in supporting the management and execution of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)/Technical Directives (TDs)/modifications associated with the configuration management process

Experience in Reviewing and evaluating Request for Engineering Investigations (REIs)/Engineering Investigations (EIs)/Fleet requests to determine root cause/issues and identifying impacts to Assisting the DAPMLs in the research and resolution of fleet Warfighter Requests which are received regarding EMALS and AAG within Branch.  Assisting in Supply Support research, APL update research, etc., to satisfactorily resolve Warfighter Requests for fleet customers

Experience with written and verbal skills to prepare written correspondence and verbally report on all assigned programs to the APMLs and DAPMLs

Preferred Qualifications: 

Knowledge of managing /optimizing ILS workload and coordinating with team member(s) to meet schedule

Experience providing work requests status to DAPMLs and resolving issues to complete the work requests

Experience in analyzing ILS program execution and/or assigned programs’ management and sustainment posture to identify deficiencies in established ILS systems and resolve critical problems

Experience with assisting in the development of the annual logistics budget requirements and working with DAPMLs to monitor the execution throughout the budget year

Experience in participating in development of annual workload requirements with supervisor and DAPMLs

Experience in communicating with Government team members

Clearance Requirements:

Must be a US Citizen with a minimum of a Interim Secret clearance is required

Physical Requirements:

Tasking is primarily computer based. 

The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC.

Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, Customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods (e.g. Zoom, TEAMS).

The projected compensation range for this position is 60,700.00-100,300.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
