The Logistics and Network Analysis Manager will develop performance metrics to support third-party logistics (3PL) operations, leverage strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency, plan and coordinate warehousing activities to optimize resource utilization, own and centralize warehousing global SOP’s and provide a comprehensive network analysis. The ideal candidate will also be accountable for continuous improvement for all Owens Corning’s business related to the warehouse function., The position will lead efforts at Owens Corning to drive simplification, standardization, and automation across warehousing sourcing and operations, cost optimization, execution management, visibility, and 3PL management.
The Logistics and Network Analysis Manager will act as a though leader and trusted business partner, building relationships through excellent communication skills with an action-oriented approach. The successful candidate will be highly data-driven in their approach which will allow US distribution operations to deliver on promises to internal and external customers. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and instinctive, with a natural ability to solve problems and seek new information.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop Metrics: Create and implement performance metrics to monitor and improve logistics operations.
Warehousing Processes: Identify, document and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of 3PL operations, such as improving inventory management, streamlining order fulfilment, invoicing, safety culture, and compliance.
Network Analysis: Conduct detailed network analysis to optimize supply chain efficiency and improve customer service.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute warehousing strategic plans to influence efficiency in supply chain operations.
Innovation: Develop an automation strategy to reduce costs and improve warehouse efficiency.
Data Analysis: Analyze logistics data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Reporting: Prepare and present reports on logistics performance, including key metrics and analysis.
Continuous Improvement: Identify, develop and track new opportunities for optimizing logistics and delivery processes.
Collaboration: Work closely within Sourcing and business partners to ensure seamless logistics operations.
Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Undergraduate degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, analytics, business or related field of study required. 3PL management experience Experience with logistics software and data analysis tools, Microsoft BI 5+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, warehouse management, or related field Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally; estimated travel 30% or less
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Professional certifications such as APICS certifications or equivalent experience Working knowledge of SAP 6.0/ S4 Hana
