Logistics and Warehouse Operations- Senior Manager

Primary Purpose

Senior Manager - Logistics and Warehouse Operations will be responsible for the leadership, strategic planning, and operational management of a federal emergency response capability to include Reprocessing/Cleaning, Logistics, CES, Surge Planning, Warehousing, Kitting, and Vendor Services within an assigned geographic region to ensure that all business and financial objectives are met.  This position is responsible for driving continuous process improvement, personnel development, positive customer experiences and effectively managing costs on a variable basis.

Responsibilities

Educational Credentials and Experience Required

7 years management experience.Prefer 5-7 years healthcare, hospital industry, medical equipment and services.Bachelor’s degree required.  Advanced degree preferred.Healthcare experience preferred.Business and financial management expertise to assist with account margin maintenance and contract management, including expertise in service performance metrics, labor analysis, expense analysis and service profitability.Demonstrated excellent communication/presentation skills.Profit and Loss (P&L) statement and budget management experience.Demonstrated computer literacyWillingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as required.Travel up to 50%Valid driver’s license.
